SP Lock and Safe is an independent local locksmith based in Chesterfield and is owned and operated by me – Paul Sheldon. I have been a locksmith for over 20 years and I’m expert in all aspects of locksmithing for both domestic and commercial customers. As well as general locksmith services I am also a specialist in UPVC windows and doors, vehicle locks and safes.
I am not part of a national franchise so you know that when you get in touch you are speaking directly to me and that I will be the locksmith coming out to see you. So no call centres, no middle men and no extra charges. I am proud of the diverse, high quality service I provide. My work and any parts I fit are guaranteed for twelve months. I’m fully insured, DBS background checked and a member of the Master Locksmith’s Association.
I am available for any type of locksmith work. I can help if you find yourself locked out, have lost your car keys, need your locks changed, or if you can’t open your safe.

After leaving school I trained and qualified as a joiner. In early 2000 I started working for a large Chesterfield based locksmith firm. Ten years later in 2010 I founded SP Lock and Safe and became self employed.
I’m a fully qualified Master Locksmith, Safe Engineer and Auto Locksmith. I’m expert in non-destructive entry, specialist in UPVC locks and mechanisms and able to repair misaligned doors and windows. The very latest diagnostic equipment allows me to program remote keys for all makes and models of vehicles, even when all your keys have been lost.
I’m an active member of the Master Locksmiths’ Association (MLA) and regularly attend training, seminars and conferences to ensure I’m up to date with industry developments, regulations and trends.
